Newark Hockey Club is pleased to announce that we have signed a sponsorship agreement with The Turquoise Teapot, Newark. The agreement will see all the club's coaches being provided with a waterproof jacket bearing the cafe's logo. The cafe, which opened in September 2016 and is located opposite the club's pitch on Bowbridge Road, is a family venture for Cathy Wilkinson and her husband, Rob, and already members of the hockey club have taken advantage of the home-made cakes and coffee. The Turquoise Teapot also run a suspended coffee scheme - where customers can pay for an extra drink, which can then be claimed by someone in need. Cathy and Rob are very much in favour of supporting local sports clubs as they want to be community-focused and inclusive as possible. http://theturquoiseteapot.weebly.com/
