Training and Skill Development: Our skilled coaching designs training sessions that focus on refining fundamental skills, tactical awareness, and fitness all based around the England Hockey method. We aim to improve each player’s abilities while ensuring an enjoyable and fulfilling hockey experience.
Competitions and Leagues: All our men’s teams play within the Midlands hockey league. Our 1st team play in Midlands Men’s Division 6 North East, our 2nd team in Midlands Men’s Division 7 North East and our 3rd team play in Midlands Men’s Division 9 North East. We believe in healthy competition and will always push players to reach their potential.
Leadership and Unity: We pride ourselves on being more than just a group of players; teamwork, mutual respect, and a shared passion for hockey are the values that we play by. Our experienced team captains and coaches are dedicated to building a strong, cohesive unit that supports each other on and off the field.
Social Interaction: Being part of the Newark hockey club means joining a community of like-minded individuals who share a love for hockey. Our goal is to create a great atmosphere off the pitch (as well as on it) we organise social events which gives opportunities to connect with fellow members and encourage players to come back for teas after each game ensuring that your hockey journey extends beyond the field.
